Impressioni di Autunno sotto la stella della Milano City Marathon
La settimana prima della gara sono uscito ancora una volta per correre gli ultimi 21 km. Ho cercato di fare le stesse cose di sempre e di mantenere la mia filosofia di allenamento.
Per guadagnare tempo mi cambio nel parcheggio aziendale e poi mi dirigo di corsa verso casa per una decina di chilometri e poi ritorno, sempre di corsa, a recuperare la macchina. Nel mio tragitto attraverso la zona industriale di Cornaredo e mi infilo in un lungo e dritto percorso ciclopedonale, che costeggia il canale scolmatore. Questo tragitto viene attraversato da varie strade di campagna e anche da una trafficata strada provinciale. Superata quest’ultima, entro in una vasta area boschiva che sfocia verso Albairate nel Bosco di Riazzolo.
Quando entro nel bosco, generalmente deserto, inizia la fase crepuscolare. Percorro il bosco per 3 chilometri fino a quando, superato il borgo di Riazzolo giungo fino alla Cooperativa Sociale Stefano Casati. A quel punto in genere inizia a essere veramente buio.
Inizio la via del ritorno sempre al buio. Le pozzanghere al buio diventano bianche. I leprotti che sgusciano dai bordi del sentiero sono rapide ombre che lo attraversano, gli alberi sono sagome che diventano via via gigantesche.
Correre al buio è fantastico. Cambia completamente la percezione della realtà circostante, si prova una sensazione di rischio, che è al contempo preoccupante ed eccitante. Va detto inoltre, che in genere il buio si accompagna al freddo e questo porta con sé la presenza della solitudine, dato che è oramai assodato che il genere umano, amante della vita comoda, non gradisce di stare nel mondo esterno quando fa freddo. Se è per questo neanche quando fa caldo. Solo quando non fa né caldo né freddo, insomma….
Dopo circa 2 ore di allenamento ritorno al parcheggio aziendale. L’ultimo tratto si percorre nella zona industriale in mezzo ai camion parcheggiati della Frigoscandia e alle automobili in movimento. Le persone che incontro, a piedi o al volante mi guardano e dal loro sguardo capisco che pensano che sia matto.
All’arrivo mi tolgo la felpa umida e vedo che il mio corpo fuma a contatto col freddo. Mi detergo il sudore e rimango a torso nudo per un paio di minuti. Poi salgo in macchina e, sempre a torso nudo guido per il rientro. Mi sto dirigendo verso casa, ma l’impressione del momento è di essere già a casa nella mia macchina. E in quel momento in genere penso che forse un pò matto lo sono davvero.
